Teachers PreK-12
The IFT represents pre-K-12 teachers in school districts across the state of Illinois. The IFT is officially recognized by the State of Illinois as a provider of professional development courses and workshops for teachers and PSRPs. The IFT is a proponent for teachers and education at the local level in our members' school districts and in the state legislature. From contract negotiations to student testing to pensions, the IFT works to protect teacher rights and provide professional support for members teaching in public and private schools.
